THE CURSE OF THE BLOOD

Several young virgins have been found killed in Kolding's streets, completely drained of blood and with bite marks on their necks. Who or what is behind this series of unexplained murders? There are whispers about which creature is behind these gruesome and terrible actions. The fear has spread to the whole city, and the citizens of Kolding are in revolt.  To investigate the case, the city council has summoned the infamous witch hunter Jørgen Arenfeldt. He has gone to Koldinghus to consult with vassal Caspar Markdanner, who has recently returned from the crusades in the Far East with the bodily remains of a saint who has been installed at the castle. Markdanner and his young lady mostly keep to themselves at the castle and have never been seen in daylight. They seem mysterious and disinterested in solving the murders. However, since the vassal is the highest authority in Kolding, it is obvious to ask for his help in solving the mystery.   However, witch hunter Arenfeldt has not returned from his audience with the vassal, and the castle gates have been barricaded. The employees at Koldinghus are locked up, and the city council has called you in a panic and asked you to sneak into the castle and investigate the matter further… What do you find in the dark? Can you distinguish friends from enemies?
