"After our last amazing "over the top" experience at Dystopia Entertainment, we were shorly informed about this new event happening in February.

Circus of Torment.
A big collaboration between international circus performers, and the Danish face of horror; Dystopia Entertainment.

The initial expectation when purchasing the balanced priced tickets was actually quite low.
I thought to myself; "haven't we already seen everything there is to see in a circus? - What more can they do besides a dim light and a few scares here and there. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt".

And boy oh boy were I wrong!

Entering the pre-circus check-in was decorated down to the smallest details. Blood & Gore left and right, omnious music as well as the very skillfull LIVE actors walking around making sure everyone has a good (scary) time. They match your level of "hype" to make sure not to go over the top.
(A little tip here: Do NOT show you are easily scared... They can smell it, and will target you! :D)

Before entering the actual circus, you either have the option to go through a well designed labyrinth of horrors. Actors doing an amazing job to have even the biggest and toughest men scream like never before heard. Even the actors down to the age of 10 (i think... the make up was making it a bit tough to see) are here to scare the living soul out of you.

The other option is to head to a small "market" where you have the option to buy everything you expect to buy at a circus. Beer, soda, Popcorn (splattered with blood!) etc. They even thought of having small fireplaces next to the tables to battle February's post winter temperatures.

Now for the real deal. You walk down a pathway to the big circus tent itself. You can hear the ominous music getting closer and closer. You know you are about to decent to madness itself.

You get seated in a very nicely heated tent, with again already live actors walking around making sure you are "entertained" (Read scared the living **** out of). For some reason, I felt the urge to keep looking over my shoulder multiple times to try and be ahead of the upcoming scare. (I failed miserably at this!)

The show begins with a short but detailed story of the actual story behind the show. The lighting is not only dim, but "alive" as it helps us to spot the important things needed to be seen.

Following the short introduction comes a plethora of performers who knows what they are doing. (I will not mention the acts here to spoil it for you. )
some of the acts I were right about. They've been seen before. ALTHOUGH!!!!! - What you've already seen is merely the first 20% of the act itself. This is where you start to think: "Is it possible to push this act even further??? Naah" - And again I was proven wrong. The performers all take it THAT ONE PIECE FURTHER. You will be guaranteed to have that "EWWW!!!" face on you multiple times during the show.

Their costumes themselves are very well thought through and made with perfection to the smallest details. They know what they are doing, and have been doing it for a long time!

As much as this sounds like a "paid review", this is in fact not! - Dystopia Entertainment & Dark Thrills Entertainment make sure you get your "Bang for the buck".

Take my word for it, and go experience it for yourself. This random stranger on the internet guarantees you wont regret it.
